CHOOSE YOUR DIRECTION OF PRACTICE

Arrow Yoga offers intentional and accessible hot yoga classes for all. We thoughtfully curate our classes to integrate the physical and subtle realms. Our movement sequences are informed by a deep understanding of how to both regulate and challenge the body, while  infusing the many powerful facets of the ancient practices. Breathwork, mindfulness, yoga theory and philosophy, as well as other techniques are incorporated to meet the intention for class. The room is heated to 98°

Each one of our class types are inspired by the energetic qualities of the four directions. Read through and discover which direction you're being asked to move towards today.

OUR CLASS TYPES

NORTH PRACTICE

A GUIDING LIGHT - A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION - AN EXPLORATION OF YOUR RANGE OF PRACTICE

A 60 minute creative vinyasa class with expanded options to explore your range of practice. Inspired by a specific theme to offer variability, and opportunities to explore the dimensional aspects of vinyasa sequencing. Class will be creatively and intentionally designed by your teacher each time and will explore other facets of the practice like breath work, meditation, mudras, and mantra. Expect an informed practice that is open to anyone looking to step out of the habitual.

SOUTH PRACTICE

GROUNDING - THE PRACTICE YOU CAN DEPEND ON - KRAMA (LADDER SEQUENCE)

A 60 minute krama flow that is consistently the same, with slight variation. Krama, is a ladder sequence which means we'll introduce a short creative sequence, which is then repeated, with progressions and variations introduced. For students who are looking to ground into the familiar, and learn to go deeper through repetition. For newer students and seasoned practitioners, all will feel provided for and sustainably challenged. This is a wonderful way to become introduced to a vinyasa based practice and can be the ritual you return to again and again, no matter how much your practice evolves.

A 60 minute power vinyasa class. Inspired by the sunrise, it is an opportunity to awaken, to cleanse, and move. Variations offered make this accessible for all, with an expectation or desire to move energy powerfully. This practice is for the days where you need a more rigorous way to discharge or process stored energy in the system. The pace of class is a bit faster than our other styles, but always in a way that is sustainable, safe, and supportive for all. Expect a holistic practice, that targets all areas of the body, mind, spirit, with a focus on the solar plexus - twists, core work, are utilized to untangle and ascend the energetic body.

It is a loving way to release our habitual tendency to move in order to feel productive. This practice offers you a chance to meet what is asking to be felt and known, a chance to recover, rest, and regenerate from the fascial to the cellular level. The room will feel warm, but will not be actively heated to provide a comfortable cocoon like environment. Expect props like bolsters, blocks, and blankets. The format for the class may vary slightly but the blueprint will be consistent.
