About the Event
Join Dani Reidy & Jill Arena for a special 2 hour Reiki infused restorative yoga class. Our nervous systems are overstimulated and overtaxed. We perpuate this sense of imbalance when we consistently add more to our cup, value output over input, and use vice and device as the. mechanisms for "winding down."
This practice is designed to provide and help you process whatever it is you are experiencing. No matter the weight in which you carry your stuff and your stories, everyone needs moments of stillness. Two hours of deep rest where you are able to receive, through a feeling of deep support, nervous system nourishment and reiki.
Our intention is to create the space and conditions for you to relax and restore. In doing so, you will leave feeling replenished and recalibrated.
Dani will guide you through the yoga, Jill will provide the soul cleansing Reiki.
What is Reiki:
A system of energy healing that originated towards the end of the 19th century in Japan that is administered through the use of laying or hovering the hands above the body (or teddy bear when done virtually!) to channel and administer healing energy during the session. Reiki can reactivate energy and vitality, allow for relaxation, realign the Chakras, assist in mental, physical, emotional and spiritual healing, improve the immune system and balance mood swings.
How is Reiki done virtually:
Through. using a stuffed animal, like a teddy bear, a Reiki practitioner is able to channel and heal the energy of their client(s) virtually.

Create an atmosphere that will foster deep rest. Dim the lights, light a candle, bring your crystals, diffuse your favorite essential oil combo.
