FRANCE

 43.9002° N, 0.8045° E

Southwest France is a region where time seems to slow. Rolling vineyards, sunflower fields, medieval stone villages, and long golden evenings create a landscape that invites you to exhale. Tucked between the Dordogne countryside and the quiet rhythm of rural French life, the area is known for its historic châteaux, winding market streets, and a culinary tradition rooted in simplicity and abundance.

Days unfold slowly here, morning light over limestone farmhouses, village cafés serving fresh bread and local cheeses, quiet walks through vineyards and forests, and dinners that stretch late into warm summer nights beneath the stars.

Spend 5 slow summer nights with us France in a beautifully restored countryside estate, and an invitation to reconnect with your essential self through rest, practice, nature, and community.

5 nights to connect and awaken. Learn that the most valuable relationship you have, is the one with your inner most self

Slow summer luxury, a dream getaway to indulge in the timeless power of nature, travel, and yoga.

THE DETAILS

Our intention is to offer an opportunity to take a journey of a lifetime—an exploration of Southwest France and an invitation to navigate the inner terrain of body, mind, and heart. When we step away from the habitual rhythm of daily life, travel creates space for perspective. In that space, we’re able to reconnect with what matters most and listen more closely to our own inner wisdom.

Each day will begin with practice on the peaceful grounds of Amassa Place, followed by a nourishing breakfast prepared with seasonal, local ingredients.

Our days will offer a balance of free time and shared adventure. Together we’ll explore nearby villages and countryside, enjoy beautiful meals, and experience the slow rhythm that defines this region of France. During free time, relax by the pool, read in a quiet corner of the estate, book a massage, or take a walk through the surrounding landscape.

Meals shared at the house will be seasonal, local, holistic, and intentionally plant-forward, with a few dinners enjoyed out so we can experience the region’s celebrated food culture. Amidst the beauty and exploration, we’ll also devote time to self-study (svadhyaya). Twice daily practice will include movement, pranayama, meditation, and self-inquiry—creating space for a deeper conversation with your inner landscape.

UPON REGISTRATION, YOU'LL RECEIVE ACCESS TO A PRIVATE TRAVELER'S PORTAL THAT SHARES FURTHER DETAILS ON YOUR TRIP. EACH MONTH FOR THE 4 MONTHS LEADING UP TO OUR DEPARTURE, WE MEET VIRTUALLY TO CONNECT AND PREPARE.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This is for those who are looking for a quality yoga experience and an amazing, well-rounded trip to France. This is for the person seeking an inner refuge in a beautiful setting, & who has a deep desire to be taken care of.

You will be expected to participate in the yoga journey just as much as you immerse yourself abroad. On our trips, we foster a deep sense of community (kula) and are all present for one another through each practice and conversation. We dine together for every meal because the best conversations are had at the table. Each trip is designed to feel holistic and dimensional, and a perfect balance between activity and relaxation.

Dani will lead a morning practice each, 2 hours of asana, pranayama, meditation and inquiry. If it is to your benefit, a restorative yoga practice will be offered each evening. The final practice will be 108 sun salutations to seal the imprint and impact of our week.

If you like hanging out with like minded people, whether you're wanderlusting with your travel bestie or going solo, you'll have a built in community for the week.

MEET THE TEAM

DANI REIDY - TRIP LEADER + TEACHER

Dani has led over 20 international yoga retreats since 2015. From the beginning, her intention has always been to thread the essence of yoga through each moment of the trip, whether in formal practice or in the lived experience of exploring a whole new place with openness, awareness, and curiosity.

With a background in Anthropology, she is meticulous about curating a trip that feels equal parts adventurous, and luxurious, while honoring the traditions, values, and power of a place and its people.

It is Dani's joy to provide a high quality experience that feels special, beautifully designed, and thoughtful. She is here to support your journey, from the logistics to the subtle realms of heart and mind.

JULIE ANDERSEN- PHOTOGRAPHER

One of our main pillars as a yoga company is mindfulness. By offering a photographer on our trips it gives our guests an opportunity to be in the moment vs trying to take a picture of it. Included in your trip cost is unlimited access to photos taken each day. Uploaded by the next morning, you'll have access to and be excited about reflecting on each day.  We also offer mini one- on-one shoots for an additional cost.

What others have to say about our retreats

"This retreat was more than I could ever expect or anticipate. From the organization to the sisterhood made the experience that much more memorable. It was empowering on so many levels and each time I participate in these retreats with Dani, I continue to learn more about myself. Now only do we practice the physical aspect of yoga but also the mindfulness of it. I am forever grateful for this experience and for meeting such strong powerful women that contributed to my amazing journey."
