The Lofoten Islands are a place that stops you in your tracks. Jagged mountain peaks rise straight from the Arctic Sea, tiny fishing villages cling to the rocks below, and the light — the extraordinary, unrelenting May light — never quite leaves the sky. Henningsvær sits at the heart of it all: a village built across a scattering of small islands, connected by bridges and harbor and the particular warmth of a community that has always lived close to the sea.
Spend 5 unforgettable nights with us in Lofoten, Norway — in a beautifully converted historic waterfront space right on the harbor — and an invitation to reconnect with your essential self through movement, nature, stillness, and community at the edge of the Arctic.

5 nights to connect and awaken. A reminder that the most valuable relationship you will ever have is the one with your innermost self.
An escape into Arctic nature, movement, and stillness beneath the midnight sun.
THE DETAILS
Our intention is to offer an opportunity to take a journey of a lifetime — a full immersion into one of the world's most untamed and breathtaking landscapes, and an invitation to navigate the inner terrain of body, mind, and heart. When we step away from the habitual rhythm of daily life, nature creates space for perspective. In that space, we're able to reconnect with what matters most and listen more closely to our own inner wisdom.
Each day will begin with practice overlooking the harbor, followed by a nourishing breakfast prepared with seasonal, local ingredients from the land and sea around us. We are hosted in a living, breathing waterfront gathering place — a hotel space where the warmth of real human connection is woven into daily life, and where the wider community becomes part of your immersion.
Together we'll kayak through glassy Arctic waters, hike dramatic ridgelines with views that stretch endlessly to the horizon, and move through landscapes that feel like the edge of the earth — adventure and yoga woven together, the outer landscape mirroring the inner one. Afternoons can be spent restoring in the sauna, taking a refreshing cold plunge in the sea, or strolling the village.
Meals shared together will be rooted in the Norwegian coastal tradition — fresh, seasonal, and deeply nourishing — with two evenings spent dining out in Henningsvær. Twice daily practice will include movement, pranayama, meditation, and self-inquiry. We'll close our final morning together with 108 sun salutations beneath the midnight sun.
UPON REGISTRATION, YOU'LL RECEIVE ACCESS TO A PRIVATE TRAVELER'S PORTAL THAT SHARES FURTHER DETAILS ON YOUR TRIP. EACH MONTH FOR THE 4 MONTHS LEADING UP TO OUR DEPARTURE, WE MEET VIRTUALLY TO CONNECT AND PREPARE.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is for those seeking a quality yoga experience woven into an extraordinary adventure in one of the most awe-inspiring places on earth. This is for the person who craves wild nature just as much as stillness — who wants to feel fully alive and deeply restored.
Expect an immersive week of twice daily yoga, breathtaking Arctic landscapes, and genuine human connection. We hike, kayak, and explore together, then return to the mat to go inward. We dine together for every meal, other than our final free-day lunch, because the best conversations are had at the table. Whether you're traveling with a friend or coming solo, you'll find your people here.
Each morning we practice together — asana, pranayama, meditation, and self-inquiry. Afternoons belong to Lofoten. Our final morning is sealed with 108 sun salutations beneath the midnight sun.

DANI REIDY - TRIP LEADER + TEACHER
Dani has led over 30 international yoga retreats since 2015. From the beginning, her intention has always been to thread the essence of yoga through each moment of the trip, whether in formal practice or in the lived experience of exploring a whole new place with openness, awareness, and curiosity.

JULIE HOVE ANDERSEN- PHOTOGRAPHER
One of our main pillars as a yoga company is mindfulness. By offering a photographer on our trips it gives our guests an opportunity to be in the moment vs trying to take a picture of it. Included in your trip cost is unlimited access to photos taken each day. Uploaded by the next morning, you'll have access to and be excited about reflecting on each day. We also offer mini one- on-one shoots for an additional cost.

ACCOMODATIONS
Our home for the week is a beautifully converted historic waterfront building sitting right on the harbor in Henningsvær — one of Lofoten's most beloved fishing villages. With the sea on all sides, mountain peaks as your backdrop, and the extraordinary Arctic light filling every room, it is a setting unlike anywhere else on earth. Exposed timber, warm interiors, and sweeping water views create the perfect backdrop for practice, rest, and connection.
The property features a dedicated yoga space where we'll practice each day, cozy communal areas where we'll share meals and evenings together, and a sauna for unwinding after long days in the mountains and on the water. Between practices and adventures, you can explore the winding harbor streets of Henningsvær, sit by the water, or simply rest and take it all in.
Our hotel setting is shared with other guests, chosen for its dedication to being a destination for those inspired to experience and appreciate Norwegian's arts, culture, and community.
Room accommodations are available in single occupancy (1 bed), single-shared double occupancy (1 bed to be shared by friends or family), double-occupancy (2 beds) and triple occupancy (3 beds). Each room has its own ensuite bathroom.
Upon registration, you'll receive access to a traveler's portal with additional details about the property and your stay.
