Memberships 4- and 8-Class Memberships: Valid for any class type except Community Classes. Rolling 30-day booking window. Includes one guest pass per month and 10% off retail.
Unlimited Memberships: Valid for all class types, including Community Classes. Rolling 30-day booking window. Includes one guest pass per month, 20% off retail & events, three-month access to Arrow’s Virtual Studio, and one complimentary shower or mat towel rental per visit.
All memberships have a three-month minimum commitment, are billed monthly until cancelled, and require 30 days’ notice to cancel.
Class Packs Drop-In: Two-week expiration starting Sept 8.
5-Class Pack: Two-month expiration starting Sept 8.
10-Class Pack: Three-month expiration starting Sept 8.
All class pack classes valid for any class except Community Classes. Two-week booking window.
Activation Any purchase made now will not activate until your first class. Memberships will renew one month after your first class.
Our classes start and end promptly so please ensure you are ready on your mat at least five minutes before the class begins. Late entry is disruptive for the class, as many of our classes start with breathwork/meditation. We lock the doors as soon as class starts. If you’re late you will not be able to enter the studio and you will be marked as a no-show. Please do not knock on the doors.
This is to observe asteya, the practice of non-stealing. We want to honor the teacher guiding, as well as the other students in the class.
Arrow Yoga's class cancellation policy is 12 hours.
New Students - There are no penalty fees for late cancellation/no show.
Class Credits/ Packs- If you do not cancel with at least 12 hours prior notice, this will constitute as a late cancellation, you will be charge a $10 penalty fee but will not lose your class credit. No shows - If you do not late cancel and do not show up for class, you will be charged a $15 penalty fee but will not lose your class credit.
Limited / Unlimited Members - If you do not cancel at least 12 hours prior notice, this will constitute as a late cancellation, you will be charged a late penalty fee of $10 and for a no show, $15 but will not lose class credits.
ClassPass or other external third-party bookings are liable to their cancellation policy.
All penalty fees will be waived for the first few months of opening to make sure everyone is oriented to navigating their new ritual.
Please check-in with someone from our team before you head into the studio so they can mark you present. If you are visiting via ClassPass you must sign our waiver before attending class. Please note, it is your responsibility to ensure you are checked-in properly.
If you are a new student, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class time so that we can familiarize you with our space and register you.
Phone use is not permitted during class at any time for safety reasons and out of respect for your teacher and those around you. Please store phones in the studio lockers when you arrive and focus on being present in the space.
If you’d like to film your practice, you are welcome to book a private class or hire our space for a shoot. Under no circumstance are you to film yourself in a public class.
We love seeing your photos before and after practice, or of our space in general, but please be mindful of our members and do not take photos of anyone without their consent.
We want to promote saucha (cleanliness) and ask that remove your shoes before entering the lobby of our studio, and place them on the floor under the bench in the locker room area, or in a locker. This also goes for post practice when you are leaving the studio, please put your shoes on by the door or at the stop of the steps.
Please consult with your doctor first before booking any of our classes.
If you're pregnant, please let the teacher know ahead of class. We don't recommend starting a new movement practice in your first trimester. We also don't recommend practicing any new movements you haven't been doing before your pregnancy. Please be mindful that our studio is heated to 98° F and may be unsafe/uncomfortable for pregnant bodies.
If you already have a strong daily practice, then feel free to continue with your regular classes*. Listen to your body to know when to take a break from these classes. When you start feeling really restricted, we recommend our prenatal class.
FAQS
We are located at 902 W 36th street in the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore City. Our studio is on the 2nd floor with the entrance to our studio on the right hand side of the front of the building.
If it is your first time to the studio, give yourself extra time to find us.
There is both free and paid parking on the streets surrounding our studio. Along Roland, and Elm Ave, there is free parking, however on 36th street (the Avenue) there is paid parking available directly in front of the studio.
Yes, we have individual lockers that you can set the lock code for each time you practice.
Yes, we have a specific shower room for use. We provide luxury shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Bring your own towel or rent a bath towel at the front desk for $5.
Mat and towels can be rented for use at the front desk for either $5 each of $8 if you rent both together. Otherwise, please bring your own mat and towel!
Yes, all classes will be heated to 98 ° F using our infrared heating panel system
However, for our West Practice (vin to yin style) the room is warm and not actively heated.
Please bring a yoga mat with you and a water bottle. We provide blocks, and bolsters to use for practice. We have a filtered water bottle refilling station that you can use to stay hydrated. We sell branded water bottles that you can purchase if you forget yours, or ask for a cup at the front desk.
If you plan to shower post practice, please bring a towel with you. We provide bath towel rentals and provide all shower toiletries.
All of our classes are all levels and we are intentional about providing options to ensure that the class is accessible. We do however suggest to begin with our South Practice. It is a vinyasa krama, meaning ladder sequence, involving more repetition and a bit more breaking down of key asanas (postures) like chaturanga (a very common and quite challenging transition). This is a grounding flow that can be dialed down or up depending on your yoga experience.
Vinyasa holds a few meanings. For one, it means "to place in a specific or special way." This can be translated to mean, to place something with intention or to move with purpose.
It is also referred to as a dynamic yoga asana sequence that coordinates breath and movement for a more cardiovascular, or energetic yoga experience. Often described as yoga that is done "breath to movement." Our sequences are fluid, with the emphasis on how you transition from one shape to the next.
A third definition is that it also is often to referred to as a description for "flowing" or transitioning in class. You might hear the cue, "now, vinyasa." This means, "flow" your practice. Often referring to a chaturanga, upward facing dog, to downward facing dog transition.
Our classes are all movement inspired. We believe that to move the body is to engage with the foundation of our mind and spirit.
Tantric in essence, weaving body to spirit, through vinyasa ("to place in a special way") based movement practices, we use the body as the portal to awaken attention & our connection to all there is.
Our classes explore various practices of yoga but are most consistently vinyasa based with tantric philosophy influence. We love to integrate various techniques, methodologies and lineages to curate a multi faceted experience for our students to connect to their whole self. We see the asana practice as a doorway to remember the sacred and lead with intentional messaging as a map to unearthing your true essence. Our flows offer combinations of breath focused movement, pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudras, yoga philosophy, story telling and more.
The design and format of our sequencing is dependent on the intention for the practice, influenced by the physical to the subtle realms. We build our sequences with a format of beginning, middle, and end - always beginning with a grounding integration, a salutation series to awaken and stir your energy, sometimes simple and repetitive, other times complex and accumulative.
The middle of practice can be many iterations and combinations of ladder sequencing where we build to a peak posture, or a peak flow. It can also be a creative, either a simple or complex sequence that explores the art of transitions in one long sequence on both sides of the body. Whatever the sequence, expect it to flow gracefully yet powerfully, curated carefully with a specific prescription in mind. We love to explore the utilization of the whole mat, facing you in different directions, as we see it as an opportunity to provide new perspectives and deepen insights.
The end of practice offers access to the more subtle aspects of mind and heart through a restorative sequence that leads to savasana. Spirit comes forward in stillness and silence. We slow down in preparation for meditation, and essentially, the true north of our experience. Reflection, reception, and connection are the aim.
Expect a well rounded practice that blends various groups of shapes to benefit the collective in an inclusive way for all bodies. Our detailed cueing and alignment based and functional movement approach, merged with relative yoga philosophy, provides an intelligent and transformative practice for all. We emphasize that advancement in your practice is actually measured not by how many fancy poses you can make on your mat, but by how adaptable, steady, and joy filled you become in your life.

Arrow Yoga blends the principles of multiple ancient yoga ideologies, schools and methods along with modern perspectives that fosters personal integration and evolution. Without being subscribed to one pure lineage, Arrow Yoga has done what many yogis have done through out centuries, curated its own personal understanding of the practice through an accumulation of a variety of systems. Our understanding of the practice continues to evolve, as does our offerings and there are an infinite amount of maps to healing and transformation.
