108

108 is considered an auspicious number in Hindu traditions, among many other cultures and religions through the world. It is said that anything that is repeated 108 times, helps us to shed samskaras and vasanas (our conditioning and our habits) that inhibit us from realizing our true self. It is also said that anything repeated this many times, imprints itself into our sub conscious, allowing for us to transform our system and give life to whatever it is we are working to manifest more of.

Practicing a surya namaskar, a sun salutation, 108 times will be a regenerative and transformative experience through each layer of our existence. As our body is the first plane in which we access when we are working to connect back to our bliss, and our true self, asana is then the most powerful tool we can use. 

We will ground and ascend, and through the experience give thanks to this season past and season coming. This experience is to reconnect back to your own nature, and we'll use the transition of the season to encourage self reflection and revelation. Come to honor yourself and the cycles, acknowleding what it means for you too, to return back to and also change.

What to expect:

• 60 minutes to practice 108, combined with restorative, meditation and journaling.
